This resource provides you with 4 different types of AI for your Top Down games! (supports left-right AI sprites too). The code is all neat and well commented for easy understanding.

Can be easily implemented into your game with quick setup variables to allow changes to the AI's main settings such as range, sprites (top-down or left-right), sight and speed without having to search through all the code. This includes whether the AI have a customizable cone/rectangle of vision based on where they're looking or whether they have a full circle of vision around them. Or you can fully edit how the AI behave yourself such as changing from shooting attacks to melee attacks.
